Training day for Alpha and the Marriage Courses in Düsseldorf
Human meets God. In your living room, your parish, your favorite café… On this training day, you will get to know Alpha and the Marriage Courses from Alpha. Alpha gets people talking and creates a space where they can discover the Christian faith. Discover how Alpha can also inspire the younger generation for faith. The Marriage Courses give couples the opportunity to invest in their relationship. Here you will get all the information, materials, and exercises to organize an Alpha or Marriage Course yourself. At the same time, it is about the great opportunity to change the culture in your parish through Alpha: If we love and welcome people as Jesus did, guests feel comfortable and like to stay. Furthermore, this attitude of hospitality can shape and transform an entire parish or youth ministry. Come and get yourself and your team or youth group ready for the first or next course! The training for the Marriage Courses (Marriage Course and Marriage Preparation Course) takes place parallel to the Alpha training. Led by: Dominique Haas, Timo Krämer, Ulrike Mohring from Alpha Germany with team. The training day is a cooperation with the Department of Evangelization of the Archdiocese of Cologne and is financially supported by them. 3 + 4 May 2027 in London Leadership Conference ’27 Book ticket now The Alpha Leadership Conference aims to encourage, equip and inspire those in leadership. Over these days, people experience God – regardless of traditions, generations and cultures. This happens through talks by international speakers, seminars, praise and prayer times, as well as personal encounters. To sit with others from Germany, enter the Seating Code LC27GERMANY during registration. Travel note: In addition to a passport, an electronic travel authorization (ETA) is required. More information I have never experienced such diversity, such a connectedness of churches. LC Participants The Leadership Conference The Leadership Conference will take place on 03 and 04 May 2027 at the Royal Albert Hall in London. It begins on Monday morning at 9:45 am and ends on Tuesday evening at approx. 9:00 pm. Tip: Travel on Sunday, 02 May and join a service in one of the Holy Trinity Brompton churches (HTB is the Alpha founder church). On Monday afternoon, there will be a joint picnic with all participants from Germany, Austria and Switzerland. If you would like to be informed, please sign up here. Yes, you can indicate during registration that you would like German translation. In the Royal Albert Hall, you can pick up headphones before the conference begins, through which the live translation is broadcast. Can you take food or drinks into the Royal Albert Hall? In previous years, it was permitted to take water bottles and food into the Royal Albert Hall. However, large pieces of luggage are not allowed. Where can I stay? It is advisable to book accommodation in good time. Since April 2025, an electronic travel authorization is required, which must be applied for digitally in advance. It is then valid for 2 years.
