Munich: Summer Festival at AID to the CHURCH IN NEED
Meeting of friends and benefactors at the aid organization's German office. For Wednesday, July 29, AID to the CHURCH IN NEED invites friends and benefactors to a summer festival at the premises of the aid organization's German office. Learn more about the work of the national office in a cozy atmosphere and get to know some of the staff personally. The festival in the courtyard and garden begins at 5:00 PM. There will be guided tours of the house and the redesigned television studio. At 6:30 PM, we will celebrate a Holy Mass with Father Benedikt Eble. Afterwards, we invite you to a snack with cold drinks. The end is planned for around 8:30 PM. HOPE City Summer Festival 2026 - Augsburg: Solidarity Day for Christians in the Holy Land
Prayer and information with a guest from near Jerusalem. The focus of this year's Day of Prayer and Solidarity on Sunday, September 13, in Augsburg is the Church in the Holy Land. We invite you to the Haus Sankt Ulrich (Kappelberg 1, 86150 Augsburg) starting at 2:30 p.m. The guest is Bernard Poggi, Rector of the seminary of Beit Jala near Jerusalem. In an interview, he will describe the situation of Christians in the Holy Land. Around 4:15 p.m., participants will process from Haus Sankt Ulrich to the Augsburg Cathedral, where a Stations of the Cross devotion for the persecuted Church will be celebrated at 5:00 p.m. Bishop Dr. Bertram Meier will lead the ecumenical prayer time and give an address.
