Augsburg: Solidarity Day for Christians in the Holy Land

Prayer and information with a guest from near Jerusalem. The focus of this year's Day of Prayer and Solidarity on Sunday, September 13, in Augsburg is the Church in the Holy Land. We invite you to the Haus Sankt Ulrich (Kappelberg 1, 86150 Augsburg) starting at 2:30 p.m. The guest is Bernard Poggi, Rector of the seminary of Beit Jala near Jerusalem. In an interview, he will describe the situation of Christians in the Holy Land. Around 4:15 p.m., participants will process from Haus Sankt Ulrich to the Augsburg Cathedral, where a Stations of the Cross devotion for the persecuted Church will be celebrated at 5:00 p.m. Bishop Dr. Bertram Meier will lead the ecumenical prayer time and give an address.
