VOLL DABEI Family Weekend
COMMUNITY * PRAISE * CHILDREN'S PROGRAM * SERVICES * EXCHANGE * IMPULSES * EXCURSIONS * PRAYER We want to share life and faith as families from different regions of Germany within the Catholic Charismatic Renewal. At every Voll-Dabei weekend, we as adults focus on a topic that helps us grow as individuals, couples, or families. We get to know one another, share time in praise and prayer, and enjoy social and relaxed togetherness. Our children receive impulses for their own journey through an age-appropriate children's program. Each Friday evening, we start together with the children with dinner, child-friendly praise, and a games night. Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning are spent together with the children, including attending a church service. From 01.07.2026, an additional 10 Euro per adult will be added (this also affects the maximum family rate). Other Bed linen, incl. towels: 11 Euro per person For vegan food, the house charges an additional 15 Euro per person/day. We will collect a donation during the weekend to cover the costs of childcare and organization. Rooms will be finally assigned to families after the registration deadline. Please mention in the remarks if older children/youths wish to share a room with peers, if ground-floor access is necessary, etc. Possible cancellation fees in case of withdrawal according to the fee schedule of the Ludwig-Wolker-Haus. We experience a lack of resources, the challenges of aging, and unrest; we are bewildered and discouraged. But we can rely on God! Through impulses and joint praise, we want to be encouraged to trust in God's good plans and to continue on our way with confidence. "And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus," writes Paul in Philippians 4:19. - Online Seminar: Lifelines - Salt & Light
On November 10th, 17th, 24th and December 1st, we would like to introduce you to four new Lifelines: This time, we want to strengthen the focus on our vocation as baptized Christians. Since we were anointed as kings, priests, and prophets through baptism, we already have a mission by that alone. It truly makes a difference whether one is aware of the graces of baptism and really "draws" from them or not. How can I make a difference in my own life, in my family, in the neighborhood, in my circle of friends, in my work, or as a called leader or missionary? What can I still work on in my life so that I can truly fulfill Jesus' mission to be "salt and light" in the world? (Mt 5:13-16) The evenings consist of short praise, an intensive, testimony-based impulse, and exchange with Q&A sessions. The series is suitable both for people who have been on a journey with God their whole lives, as well as for all those who want to reflect more on their mission as baptized persons and be reignited. On one of the evenings, we will pray for the baptism in the Holy Spirit! The seminar will take place as an online event. The event is suitable for house groups as well as individuals. The evenings could also be an opportunity to invite friends, neighbors, or community members for dinner. Afterwards, you could listen to the impulse together and exchange ideas. Save the date! At Volkenroda Monastery (Thuringia). For everyone who feels like a week of vacation with old and new friends from the CE, there is already a date to mark in your calendar for summer '27: A vacation week at Volkenroda Monastery in Thuringia for singles, parents, children, seniors & young adults. We look forward to community, spiritual impulses, excursions, encountering God together, and activities for almost every age group. It's best to enter it in your calendar right now: July 31 to August 6, 2027. We expect to publish all information and registration options on our website by the end of September. For all families with teenagers who are already planning next summer and need to coordinate dates: Parallel to the intergenerational vacation week, the JCE is organizing a JUMP in Maihingen, which participants can travel to and from via central locations.
