Days of Discernment
Days of Discernment for young men The question of priesthood or religious life: some run away, others get caught in an endless loop ("He is calling me, he is not calling me, he is calling me..."). Both are burdensome. Openness to it is liberating. Whoever is on a journey with Jesus grows more and more into their very personal vocation. Being on a journey with Jesus and serving his Gospel is the core of the Christian vocation. The Days of Discernment in Alzgern are intended to help begin the vocational journey or to make further progress in it: times of silence and communal prayer, food for thought (discernment of spirits and decisions, the Catholic understanding of vocation, insight into the various forms of spiritual vocation, etc.), opportunity for spiritual accompaniment, exchange with like-minded people and community with seminarians and priests who are already a few steps ahead on the vocational path. At the same time, the priests of the Legionaries of Christ from Central Europe meet for days of community and recreation in Alzgern. You can get to know members of the religious community from different countries.
