Rosary Exhibition: 100 rosaries with special stories, places, and people. Starting in spring 2025, inspired by a conversation with the Poor Clare Capuchins of Perpetual Adoration in Mainz, Dominic Gilbert from the Rheinhessen regional office of the Diocese of Mainz began collecting rosaries from pilgrimage sites, monasteries, spiritual communities, and private donors, along with their accompanying stories. This resulted in an exhibition that makes spiritual traditions, lived faith, and profound life experiences visible. Thus, the collection invites one to pause and encounter this beautiful form of prayer, which has accompanied people in all areas of their lives for centuries, by telling of people, stories, and places touched by the rosary. After the exhibition was shown in Bingen, Marienthal, and Mainz, among other places, it will stop at the Deutschordenskirche on October 11th from 11:00 AM, where the exhibits can be viewed until 5:30 PM. The exhibition will conclude at 5:00 PM with a rosary devotion including exposition and sacramental blessing.
