Parish Caritas

The centerpiece of our Caritas work is the consultation hour (twice a month on Monday afternoons), during which we offer counseling and assistance to people from the parish area: only by telephone appointment and upon presentation of documents regarding their financial situation. Larger support is also possible here, such as payment of (partial) rent, electricity bills, Wiener Linien tickets for students (Top-Jugendticket), etc. In addition, donations of goods and food are distributed. Alongside this are activities distributed throughout the year such as: • Cookie sale before Christmas, using the proceeds to finance special projects at home and abroad • Christmas party for the lonely • Care for parish members (visits, financial aid, ...) • Sausage snack for the homeless three times a year The consultation hour of the Pfarrcaritas is held jointly by Ingrid Werner and Iris Neukam: every 2 weeks, Monday from 3:30 PM to 6:00 PM in the parish office.
