MasterClass Conversation Skills Part 2

Conversation skills in small groups – Roles & Challenges. How do good conversations emerge in Alpha small groups, conversations with depth, openness, and genuine exchange? In this workshop, you will learn how to shape communication more consciously, ask good questions, and respond to different personalities. You will practice practical tools for confident and calm conversation leadership. This second part covers group dynamics, various roles within groups, and concrete aids for challenging situations in small group leadership. Notes: For active participation, we recommend a functioning camera and microphone. The two workshop parts build upon each other. However, participation in the individual modules is still possible. The workshop is aimed at everyone who accompanies Alpha small groups and wants to further develop their conversation skills – whether new or experienced. Target group: Small group leaders involved with Alpha who wish to further develop their art of conversation. A prerequisite is participation in the Alpha basic training. Leadership Conference

May 3rd + 4th, 2027 in London Leadership Conference ’27 Book ticket now The Alpha Leadership Conference aims to encourage, equip, and inspire those in leadership. During these days, people experience God – regardless of traditions, generations, and cultures. This happens through talks by international speakers, seminars, praise and prayer times, as well as personal encounters. To sit with others from Germany, enter the Seating Code LC27GERMANY during registration. Travel note: In addition to a passport, an electronic travel authorization (ETA) is required. LC Participants The Leadership Conference The Leadership Conference will take place on May 3rd and 4th, 2027, at the Royal Albert Hall in London. It starts on Monday morning at 9:45 AM and ends on Tuesday evening at approx. 9:00 PM. Tip: Arrive on Sunday, May 2nd, and join a service in one of the Holy Trinity Brompton churches (HTB is the Alpha founding church). In the Royal Albert Hall, you can pick up headphones before the start of the conference, through which the live translation will be broadcast. Can you bring food or drinks into the Royal Albert Hall? In previous years, it was permitted to bring water bottles and food into the Royal Albert Hall. However, large pieces of luggage are not allowed. Where can I stay? It is advisable to book accommodation in good time.
