Marriage Seminar in Schwarzach
Welcome to the marriage seminar! Schedule In the morning, you will be guided by couples and lecturers with extensive training in marriage and family matters and, of course, their own experience. In the afternoon, a priest or a person with theological training will lead a session on the theme of the 'Sacrament of Marriage'. Methods The focus is not on the group, but on the couple. You are invited to ask questions, contribute, or simply listen. In between and especially during the breaks, you will find time for conversation with your partner. Seminar contents: Marriage in God's plan Created as man and woman – called to family Influence of the family of origin Partnership communication Christian shaping of married and family life in everyday life Co-responsibility in society and the Church Marriage – a sacrament Canon law clarifications Celebration of the church wedding Beauty of marital sexuality Responsible parenthood and protection of life Natural family planning Registration and information: Registration required. Married Couples' Hiking WeekendOn the way with God SUMMIT MEETING: July 24-25, 2026 Hiking with different fitness levels – No matter how fit you are! Dare to do it! – On Friday, we will hike approximately 650 meters in altitude up to the hut. – The next day, you choose for yourself which route you take back down to the valley (2, 4, or 8 hours) and whether you include a summit or if your summit experience consists of something else. Overnight stay at the hut – One night in the mountains, in a shared mattress dormitory, certainly not full of romance and yet a good investment point for your relationship. God alone creates that. – Accommodation costs: approx. €27 per person (DAV members approx. €15 per person). Encountering God – Encountering God, being strengthened, knowing that you are carried as a couple or as a family. That is what makes the experience of storming the summit: The certainty that there is a greater love that keeps the big picture in view. – Let yourself be touched! Children are welcome!
