Welcome to the marriage seminar! Schedule In the morning, you will be guided by speaker couples and speakers with extensive marriage and family-specific training and, of course, their own experience. In the afternoon, a priest or a theologically trained person will lead a session on the topic of the 'Sacrament of Marriage'. Methods The focus is not on the group, but on the couple. You are invited to ask questions, contribute, or simply listen. In between and especially during the breaks, you will find time for conversation with your partner. A warm invitation to Confirmation preparation! The Sacrament of Confirmation effects the outpouring of the Holy Spirit in fullness, as was once granted to the Apostles on Pentecost. Target group: This Confirmation preparation is intended for girls and boys between 14 and 16 years old. The Confirmation preparation takes place on the following dates: 12.01.27 (online) – What do I actually believe? And why? – Faith, creation, and salvation history 22.–24.01.27 (in Ratingen) – Who is the Holy Spirit? – The Sacrament of Confirmation and our life as Christians 16.02.27 (online) – What if I doubt? – Questions and doubts in faith 16.03.27 (online) – Do I have a task in the Church? – My mission as a Christian 13.04.27 (online) – How can I talk to God? – Prayer and relationship with God 11.05.27 (online) – What happens at my Confirmation? – Process, signs, and meaning Additional notes: Please only register if you can be fully present at ALL meetings! The weekend in Ratingen begins at 2 p.m. Some of you will need a school exemption for this. We are happy to issue a corresponding confirmation for this purpose. The online meetings always take place from 7:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. In addition to the course, you have the opportunity to be confirmed in Düsseldorf on May 18, 2027, at 6 p.m. If you only want to participate in the course and be confirmed elsewhere, that is no problem.
