Youth Pilgrimage 2026
Once a year, the youth pilgrimage takes place here at the monastery. In the coming years, this will normally be on the weekend following the first Friday in September. A warm invitation to all teenagers and young adults (from approx. 13 to approx. 35 years old)!

Fatima National Madonna in Stiepel – Pilgrimage Mass, Procession and AdorationThe Fatima National Madonna for Germany is coming to us again. On August 19th at 3 p.m., as is customary on Wednesdays, the pilgrimage Mass will be celebrated. Subsequently, weather permitting, there will be a procession along the Marienweg. After a break (possibly with Eucharistic Adoration), the Rosary will be prayed at the outdoor altar at 5:45 p.m. At 6:30 p.m., the parish evening Mass will follow. Afterwards – from approx. 7:30 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. – there will be the opportunity for Eucharistic Adoration.

Night of Open ChurchesOn September 5th, the Night of Open Churches will take place again in Bochum and Wattenscheid. The monastery and the parish have put together the following program for you: 4:30 PM: Guided tour of the monastery, 5:45 PM: Participation in the monks' evening prayer (Vespers), 6:30 PM: Solemn evening Mass with the choir of the pilgrimage church, 7:30 PM: Guided tour of the church, 8:00 PM: Taizé Vespers in the church, 9:15 PM: Structured adoration with praise music.
