Healing faith in the face of serious illness and suffering, wounds and injuries – reconciliation with one's own life
Jesus Christ is our Savior and Redeemer. Through the studies of medicine, psychology and theology in India, Europe and the USA, Dr. Jesu-Paul Manikonda is researching holistic treatment and offers medical, biblical-theological and psycho-spiritual support. Within the framework of New Evangelization through the Word of God, the sacraments and psychotherapy, he offers seminars/exercises on spiritually holistic healing and wishes to help us as human beings to look forward courageously and find joy in life and in our Christian faith. His aim is for Jesus Christ, as the Way, the Truth and the Life, to reach every human heart through His Holy Spirit and transform it, so that our hearts beat for God and our neighbor. In this way, we are enabled to perceive the impulses of the Holy Spirit in our lives and implement them so that they correspond to the will of God. After the studies that liberate him, God frees people from their guilt and grants them reconciliation in the sacrament of forgiveness. Through reconciliation of one's own life history with God, we can have our injuries and wounds healed by Him. To believe in Jesus Christ as Savior and Redeemer also means to allow oneself to be spoken to as saved, to be able to forgive oneself and others and to find peace with the wounds and injuries in one's own life. We long for such healing experiences to be able to "look forward courageously and find joy in life and reconcile with our own life" and to bear witness to the healing presence of God, which was revealed through Jesus Christ in the Holy Spirit. The goal of the seminars/exercises is: Our heart shall become a temple of the Holy Spirit, and we shall all thus become living members of the Body of Christ, the Church. This strengthens our faith and makes us credible witnesses of His Good News of love.
