Healing Faith in Severe Illnesses and Suffering, Wounds and Injuries – Reconciliation with One's Own Life (Course with Rev. Dr. Jesu-Paul Manikonda)

Manikonda Jesus Christ is our Savior and Redeemer. Through the Sacrament of Forgiveness, God frees people from their guilt and grants them reconciliation. Through reconciliation of one's own life history with God, we can have our injuries and wounds healed by Him. To believe in Jesus Christ as Savior and Redeemer also means to allow oneself to be declared saved, to be able to forgive oneself and others and to find peace with the wounds and injuries in one's own life. After such healing experiences, we long as human beings to be able to look courageously forward, to become joyful in our lives and to bear witness to our Christianity. After studies of Medicine, Psychology and Theology in India, Europe and the USA, Dr. Jesu-Paul Manikonda researches holistic treatment at the University of Würzburg and offers medical, biblical-theological and psycho-spiritual support. Within the framework of New Evangelization through the Word of God, the Sacraments and psychotherapy, he offers seminars/exercises on spiritually-holistic healing and wants to enable us to look forward with courage and become joyful in our lives and bear witness to the healing presence of God, which has been revealed through Jesus Christ in the Holy Spirit. His concern is that Jesus Christ, as the Way, the Truth and the Life, reaches every human heart through His Holy Spirit and transforms it, so that our heart beats for God and our neighbor. In this way, we are enabled to perceive the impulses of the Holy Spirit in our lives and implement them so that they correspond to the will of God. The goal of the seminars/exercises is: Our heart shall become a temple of the Holy Spirit and we shall all become living members of the Body of Christ, the Church. This strengthens our faith and makes us credible witnesses of His Good News of love. In this way, peace, joy, happiness and a successful life in abundance can be given to us as is promised to all of us (John 10:10). In doing so, participants experienced spiritually-holistic healing. In this regard, the house- and specialist medical and pastoral competence is essential. As the Bible testifies, the uplifting, strengthening and healing grace of God in Jesus Christ in the Holy Spirit is open to us through the Church, for God himself says of himself: "I am the Lord, your physician."
