Guitar Course without Sheet Music - Module 1 Beginner's course – no prior knowledge required Our Guitar Course Module 1 invites you to rediscover playing the guitar in an open and appreciative atmosphere – without knowledge of sheet music and without prior musical experience. The focus is on the joy of making music, singing together, and the experience: I can make music. Together we will learn the basics of guitar playing, how to hold the guitar, the first simple chords, as well as basic strumming patterns. Step by step, we develop a feel for rhythm and accompaniment and, after a short time, will accompany simple songs together. The focus is on the musical experience and the joy of free singing and making music within a community. Walter Nimmerfall rewrote almost the entire Gotteslob (the hymnbook of the Catholic Church in German-speaking countries) for guitar.
