“The word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword!” (Heb 4:12) Starting the year with the most important thing! Learning to know and love Christ through the Word of God. Begin the year 2027 in prayer and personal encounter with God to draw strength and inspiration for the tasks and challenges of the new year. Focus of the retreat: “Ignorance of Scripture is ignorance of Christ,” teaches the Church Father Jerome. Conversely, Christ, who is the Word Himself, can be found in the Word of God. In these silent retreats following the methodology of St. Ignatius of Loyola, we seek a living access to God's Word, so that by listening to Holy Scripture, we may grow in personal knowledge and friendship with the Lord and also hear His call to discipleship in our own lives. The retreat helps you find answers to these questions: How can I hear God's voice through Holy Scripture? How does Holy Scripture lead me to the knowledge of Jesus? How are the Old and New Testaments connected? How do I find strength and inspiration for my life as a Christian in the Bible? Components of the retreat include: Bible meditations and time for personal prayer. Daily Holy Mass and Eucharistic Adoration. Silence and table readings during meals. Availability of confession and individual spiritual direction. PRIEST-BLESSED (For priests and deacons) Priests bear enormous responsibility - they are not always well prepared for it. Like all people, they also carry wounds within them that can act as a brake in their lives: frustration, loneliness, anger, vulnerability, perfectionism, burnout… God wants to heal deeply within in His love and goodness, and grant His sons freedom, peace, and new strength.
