Family Days in Lungau

Family Days Enjoy Lungau as a family, develop strategies for everyday family life and experience a strengthening of body and soul in beautiful nature. In addition to joint program activities, each family has sufficient time for their own leisure activities. Thanks to the family-friendly environment on site, parents also have a better opportunity to find time for themselves and relaxation. Daily schedule (subject to change): 8.00-10.00: Breakfast (children can already use the great infrastructure of the house and will be supervised, while the parents can still eat breakfast and, towards the end of the breakfast time, listen to a short impulse from Alexandra Schwarz and exchange ideas (e.g., media education, setting priorities and implementing them in everyday life, different temperaments of children, ...). 10.00 – 16:00: each family can independently or together with other families use the diverse leisure offers of the Lungau (for this, you will receive the Lungau Card, which is included in the price) or enjoy the peace and advantages of the house. 16.00 – 17.30/18.00: Markus Schwarz moderates so-called “GFO case studies” (The Case Method – Society for Family Orientation), which each couple will receive to read in advance. The aim is to start a conversation about proven strategies for married and family life, based on constructed cases in which every family can find themselves to some extent. Through personal and joint reflection as a couple and through mutual exchange, much benefit for one's own everyday life can be derived in a pleasant summer atmosphere. The children are cared for in parallel. 18:30: Dinner; afterwards there is time for exchange, play, joint family evening prayer... In addition to the content impulses and the joint or individually designed leisure time, there should also be the possibility to celebrate Mass together or take part in a small family pilgrimage. Costs: Half-board (incl. rich breakfast buffet and dinner): Children in cribs: 25€, children between 2 and 6: 35€, children between 7 and 15: 48€, for teenagers from 15 and for adults: 59€; contribution fee of 50€ per family; Special features of the accommodation: The accommodation offers only food from its own agriculture and is known for its excellent cuisine. A family-friendly hike to the house's own alpine pasture and catering there is possible during the Family Days. The accommodation includes a large area with a soccer and basketball court, trampolines, a hobby room, a sandbox, a beach volleyball court, a rabbit hutch, a cinema hall and cozy retreat options. More info at: www.mauser.cc Speakers: Couple Markus and Alexandra Schwarz, together they have 7 children aged 13 to 25. Markus Schwarz works as a biologist, management consultant and is a senior manager in the social and health sector. Alexandra Schwarz is a physician and marriage, family and life counselor. “In my work at GFO [Society for Family Orientation], I can combine my professional know-how with my joy for family and education. Working together on case studies is much more sustainable for implementing education than being served ready-made recipes, as these encourage much less reflection and often do not do justice to the complexity of concrete family situations.” Markus Schwarz “As a mother of seven children, I had to learn that there can be no magic recipes in education. Every child is different, every age phase presents parents with completely new tasks. The method of the GFO courses helped me to repeatedly adjust to all this and never lose the joy of educating.” Alexandra Schwarz Organization: If interested, please contact johannes.czifra@eds.at or 0676/8746 2510. Due to high demand, the earlier the better. With a deposit of 150€ per family, your spot is fixed.
