Family Symposium 2026 – Strong in One's Own Body: Supporting Children with Love, Clarity and Competence

Dr. Ralf and Dr. Elisabeth Luge provide practical impulses from development-sensitive sexual education ESSP© and the value-oriented TeenStar program. Many parents feel insecure about the topic of sexuality – here they receive orientation, language and knowledge to competently support their children.

The morning: Understanding education. Essential scientific findings on physical, cognitive and emotional development from birth to the teenage years provide parents with security. You will learn how a positive body image is formed, what needs children and adolescents actually have and how parents can support their children on the way to becoming a strong person.

Workshops in the afternoon: concrete & appreciative. Workshop 1 – Strengthening sons: Supporting a son's development as a father. Workshop 2 – Strengthening daughters: Cycle knowledge and support by the mother. Both workshops are open to mothers and fathers.

Program: 10:00 Opportunity to attend Holy Mass, 11:00 Welcome, 11:15 Presentation, 13:15 Lunch buffet, 14:30 Choice of workshops, 16:30 Closing with coffee and cake.

Married for almost 40 years and parents of four children as well as grandparents of five grandchildren, Elisabeth and Ralf Luge bring a wealth of family and life experience. Elisabeth holds a PhD in German studies and is a long-time university employee, Ralf is a specialist in orthopedics. TeenStar has accompanied them since they were raising their own children, and since 2009 they have been involved as course leaders and lecturers in TeenStar training. Elisabeth has been the chairwoman of TeenStar Germany since 2019. As certified ESSP© sexual educators, they combine sound knowledge with practical impulses – honest, encouraging and lifelike.
