Elements of Psychodrama in Spiritual Direction and Retreat Guidance
Anton-kurt · Public domain · Wikimedia Commons
Continuing education for spiritual directors, retreat guides, and everyone active in pastoral work. Through psychodramatic techniques such as role-playing and role-reversal, one's own attitudes of faith can be better understood and expressed. This makes it possible to discover new perspectives in the relationship with God and with oneself. Inner images and spiritual experiences can be made visible, and spiritual processes can be shaped as living stories in which change is possible. Through concrete exercises, participants can personally experience psychodramatic techniques based on J. L. Moreno's theory of psychodrama and take individual elements into their own practice of spiritual and pastoral guidance. Target group: Spiritual directors, retreat guides, and everyone active in pastoral work
