Discernment Retreat
In life, we become rich through many experiences! We are in contact with many people in our environment and constantly face small and large challenges. This weekend at the end of the liturgical year and the beginning of Advent is simply meant to give you time: time to reorient yourself towards God, and to bring encounters and experiences into prayer and personal conversation. To discern: How is God calling me today? What am I living for? During this weekend, you have time to listen to God's voice and look at His action in your life. The weekend is characterized by silence, adoration, prayer, the possibility of confession, the Holy Mass, personal time, and three discernment impulses. There are also deepening questions for each of the impulses. At the end, there is a conversation with one of the weekend guides, whom you can choose freely. This conversation is about how God has revealed Himself to you during this weekend and what small steps you would like to try in your personal daily life.

What are silent retreats? Silent retreats offer the opportunity to experience oneself, the world, and God with entirely different eyes. They can be a help in asking persistent questions and in personally listening to the voice of God. We walk this path of listening in full-day silence, in communal and personal prayer, in the daily celebration of the Eucharist, in adoration, and in daily individual spiritual direction.
