Choir: Friedensstimmen
Saturdays at 6 p.m., from mid-August until December 19, 2026, Herbergsgasse 7 in Basel The Friedensstimmen (Pisnosspiwy) choir brings together people from different cultures and nations. Many of our singers come from Ukraine. We perform at concerts and provide musical accompaniment for church services. Would you like to sing in a choir? People from different cultures and nations, refugees and migrants with or without choir experience are warmly welcome. The decisive factor is the joy of singing together. We sing modern, spiritual as well as secular songs from all continents of the earth. Are you interested? Then come by for a trial rehearsal and get in touch with the choir director from Ukraine, who looks forward to your visit: Contact: Yaroslav Kutsan studies wind music at the Hochschule für Musik in Luzern, is a professional musician, an experienced orchestral musician and has been a freelance solo and ensemble musician since 2001: yarakutsan@gmail.com
