Catholic Summer Festival 2026

Catholic Summer Festival 2026

Ready for the highlight of your summer 2026? We look forward to seeing you! :-)Registration Where is your journey heading? – Your "life's" journey? A whole life awaits you – we invite you to make the most of it! How? Get to know the One who says He has gigantic "plans" for you, a real "future" that you can look forward to already and "should" enjoy. We invite you to make your acquaintance with Jesus, to get to know him better, and to just "let him do his thing." If he says such things, then he should be able to stand by his word, right? All he needs is your Yes. Feel free to "book" your 2026 summer trip to Marienfried here and experience the "Sound of God." Do I have to belong to JUGEND 2000/be Catholic to be able to register? No. We welcome everyone who comes. If you are between 14 and 35 years old and want to be there, then you are very welcome! Can I also decide to come spontaneously? Sure! Our Welcome Team will be happy to take your registration at the reception. However, it is naturally easier for us to plan if you register for the festival as early as possible (and then actually come). But spontaneous visitors are welcome at any time. Is the CSF for ages 14+ or 16+? Our program is aimed at young people and young adults between 16 and 35 years old. If you are between 14 and 16 years old and want to be there, you are still very welcome! Just register normally. Is the CSF a youth or a family festival? The Catholic Summer Festival is a youth festival. We at JUGEND 2000 have the vision of gathering the youth of the world around the Eucharist. Therefore, our main target group is young people and young adults between 16 and 35 years old. We will explain in the following points what you need to consider if you want to come as a family. Can I also come if I am not yet 14 years old? Yes! For children younger than 14 years old, we recommend the family program. Can I also come if I am over 35? Yes! However, we would be pleased if you could actively support us as a helper. You can indicate this during registration. Can we also come to the CSF as a family? Yes! However, there are a few things to consider: Parents/guardians within the target group (16-35) You are very welcome to come to the festival and bring your children! We have a family team that organizes childcare and the family program. Simply register yourself and your family as a group. Parents/guardians above the target group (35+) If you are older than 35 and want to come, we ask you to make yourself available as a helper. During registration, you can specify in which areas you would like to help. You will then be assigned to a team by us. Please register as a family via the helper registration. Accommodation As a family, you have different options for accommodation: You bring your own tent and stay at the family campsite You come with a motorhome (outside the festival grounds) Is there childcare and what does it look like? Our family team has put together its own program, which is carried out in the family tent. Your children will therefore be well looked after! You can decide whether you want to be part of the main program or the family program. However, we point out that parents are still responsible for their children. Register yourself and your children as a group. Can I participate in the festival normally as a guardian for my child without helping? If your children are at least 14 years old and want to participate in the main program, they require an adult guardian until age 18. It is easiest if the guardian is within the target group (up to 35 years). Perhaps you know someone who is also coming and can take over the supervision of your child? If not, we ask everyone here who is older than 35 to register as a helper. Do I have to participate in all program points? No, you can decide freely which program points you participate in and which you do not. We especially recommend the Holy Masses and the major program points in the evenings. We have also tried not to pack the program too tightly and to leave enough free time. Should something be too much for you, you can withdraw at any time. Can I come for just one day? Of course! Although the festival is naturally cooler as a whole 😉 During registration, you can specify exactly which days you can be there. How much does it cost? We want your participation in the CSF not to depend on this question. Therefore, the entire festival is on a donation basis. We would be totally happy if you want to give us a contribution so that we can cover our costs. But whether and how much that is, you decide. Where can I stay overnight? You have three options: 1. You bring your own tent 2. You stay in the community tent 3. You find your own accommodation in the area (e.g., in Pfaffenhofen) Please note that our campsites are gender-separated – we cannot make exceptions, even for siblings. There is a separate campsite for families. What is the drinking water supply? There will be a water station on the grounds where you can fill up tap water for free at all times. It is therefore advisable to bring your own bottle that can be refilled. Can I also help out in a team? YES, we would love that! Just register via our helper questionnaire. There you can specify exactly which areas you are interested in. We will then assign you to a team. If you have already registered as a participant, please contact jonas.reissmann@jugend2000.org – we will then be happy to change the registration. :) Further questions? Feel free to contact vanessa.benzinger@jugend2000.org or jonas.reissmann@jugend2000.org.
