Contemplative Christmas Days (Retreat Days)

Jesus Christ is our Savior and Redeemer. Through the sacrament of forgiveness, God frees people from their guilt and grants them reconciliation. By reconciling one's own life history with God, we can have our injuries and wounds healed by Him. To believe in Jesus Christ as Savior and Redeemer also means allowing oneself to be spoken to as saved, being able to forgive oneself and others and finding peace with the injuries and wounds in one's own life. Wounds and injuries – after such healing experiences, we long as human beings to be able to look courageously forward to "our own life" and to be joyful in life and in our Christianity. After studies of theology in India, Europe and the USA, Dr. Jesu-Paul Manikonda is researching holistic forgiveness at the University of Würzburg and offers medical, biblical-theological and psychological treatment. "Healing faith in cases of severe spiritual distress in illnesses and suffering." Within the framework of New Evangelization through the Word of God, the sacraments and spiritual reconciliation with one's own life, he offers seminars/exercises on spiritually holistic healing and wishes to bear witness to the healing presence of God, which was revealed through Jesus Christ in the Holy Spirit. His aim is that Jesus Christ, as the Way, the Truth and the Life, reaches every human heart through His Holy Spirit and reshapes and transforms it, so that our hearts beat for God and our neighbor. In this way, we are enabled to perceive the impulses of the Holy Spirit in our lives and implement them so that they correspond to the will of God. The goal of the seminars/exercises is: Our heart should become a temple of the Holy Spirit and we should thus all become living members of the Body of Christ, the Church. This strengthens our faith and makes us credible witnesses of His Good News of love. Retreat days with several Holy Masses daily, Perpetual Adoration, opportunities for confession and conversation, religious impulses, communal prayer times, community, and a Christmas celebration with good food.
